Rachel is a young woman of Nigerian heritage, specifically belonging to the Indigenous people of Biafra. And she loves telling stories. As a multidisciplinary artist (actor, writer, director etc), Rachel has worked nationally and internationally with the RSC, Royal Court, Soho Theatre, Lyric Thea- tre, Her Majesty’s Theatre, Actors Centre, ITV, Nationwide, Sky News, NSPCC, Nickelodeon, Birmingham Opera Company, Saatchi and Saatchi, Fortnum and Mason, Thames Festival Trust, Stonewall UK, Sofar Sounds, Shambala Festival, Brainchild Festival as well as many other re- nowned organisations worldwide.
She was invited to be the first international poet-in-residence in Mexico and has also won a number of awards and competitions, most notably the 2016 National Slam Poetry Champion. Rachel is unapologetic in communication and dedicated to finding plat- forms for under-represented voices in the arts industry. She (/Her) is a person who proudly loves loudly.
